===== Z31 300ZX Anti-Sway Bar Information Page =====

According to the factory service manuals, the US Z31s only came with three different size sway bars front and rear. The 1984 to 1986 turbos and all year non-turbos came with 22mm thick anti-sway bars in the front. The 1984 to -04/87 1987 turbos and all year non-turbos came with 22mm thick anti-sway bars in the rear. The 1987 to 1989 turbos came with 24mm thick anti-sway bars in the front. The 04/87+ 1987 to 1989 turbos came with 24mm thick anti-sway bars in the rear. The 1988 shiro special models came with 26mm thick anti-sway bars in the front and 25mm thick anti-sway bars in the rear. 

===== Front Anti-Sway Bar Information: =====

The front NISMO sway bar for Z31 is part number 54611-23P01. This is the same sway bar that is found on the German Z31s of the same time era. The 1987 to 1989 style front sway bars are vertical mounts, while the 1984 to 1986 front style are horizontal mounts.

===== Rear Anti-Sway Bar Information: =====

The part number is 56230-04P13. All rear anti-sway bars mount the same. The only thing you'll need for any year as to mounting it is the 25mm bushings.

If you want to replace the old bushings and washers around the control arm, these are the part numbers. They are the same for any year, so your old ones will work if you don't want to buy new ones. Or if you go with the polyurethane bushings.
