I heard from somewhere on here that if you have yellow tape on your injector harness, then it was repaired and is now not a fire hazard...can anybody verify this for me?

I'm glad you posted that, I have the yellow tape too. Well, I guess I have a campaign wiring job to do. _________________

Some tech actually took the time to route it along with the harness. Most of the time I see them, all that extra wire is just laying on the valve cover. |

drewdaddyz,
If you have the tape then yours has had the campaign done, you don't need to do it. _________________ And Shepherds we shall be

+1 on blue or yellow, have seen both.
But having it done doesn't necessarily mean you won't have an engine fire. Your fuel line may be approaching 20+ years old, check for cracks/bulges/dryrotting. |
